ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES 

Our Software Developer III - Full Stack is the absolute jack-of-all trades position. We work with many different technology vendors and encounter new tech stacks on a regular basis. The willingness to learn a new technology or language on a regular basis is a must. Because of this unusual work requirement, we make sure you never feel alone in trying to solve a problem and other team members can help out whenever needed.  

While this is a full stack position, only about ~30% will be on web applications specifically. The remainder of the time you will be helping out building tools used in cyber security. The position does not require prior experience in the field of security. If you are proficient in 2 languages, can show that you have built web applications before, but want to really grow you career with a lot of on-the-job training and exposure to the field of security then this would be a great fit. You must be comfortable with AI assisted coding and building out agentic system. Because this role needs to work with so many different technologies AI is an invaluable tool for effectiveness.  On day one we may ask you to write code in a language you have never used before, and the willingness to take it on is essential. We do everything we can to create an environment and a team that can support you in this role. You will always have someone to turn to with technical questions. Many of the things we work on require high levels of risk, so being able to quantify development risk to timelines and knowing how to anticipate risks are also important.

  • Take high level feature requests and implement them. 
  • Take the time to understand the big picture and the "why" to each feature 
  • Carefully code and test to produce nearly bug free code 
  • Constantly want to grow and learn new skills 

ESSENTIAL RQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS 

  • 5 years professional programming experience.  
  • Proficient in at least 2 of these languages: Python, PHP, JavaScript, C#, C, C++, SQL, Java 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Knowledge in coding concepts, networking, multithreading etc. 
  • Good database architecture methodology 
  • Comfortable with Linux CLI 
  • Comfortable using AI systems to increase productivity
