The Virtual Licensed Mental Health Counselor will work 100% remotely from the comfort of their home office. The position does not require on-call hours and allows for a flexible schedule from Monday to Friday, with office hours running from 9 AM to 5 PM. The ideal candidate will possess a reliable internet connection and the ability to maintain a private space suitable for providing confidential therapy sessions.

• Conduct thorough virtual assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' mental health and substance abuse histories, using established methodologies.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions employing evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to the clients' needs.
• Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary treatment team, ensuring integrated and cohesive care for clients.
• Provide education and support to clients' families, involving them in the recovery process to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
• Document and maintain accurate client records in compliance with all regulatory requirements and organizational policies.

Your primary focus will include working with adolescents and young adults, who present with low acuity mental health concerns. This demographic often seeks support for issues such as anxiety, depression, and relationship troubles. With clients pre-screened for suitability, you can concentrate fully on delivering empathetic and effective care without the distractions of high-risk cases.

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is required.
• Active state licensure as a LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or PsyD is mandatory.
• Demonstrated experience providing telehealth therapy, particularly to adolescents and young adults, is preferred.
• Proficient computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Google Suite and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on professionalism in presentation.

• 2-3 years of experience providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions in a clinical or telehealth setting.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment frameworks and a willingness to participate in ongoing training for new methodologies.
• Strong engagement skills that foster warmth and rapport with clients, enhancing their comfort and trust during therapy sessions.
• Comfortable working independently while maintaining productivity and meeting deadlines without direct supervision.

Thrive Wellness Psychological Solutions offers a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 yearly, commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications.
