This role will be part of the Commerce Experiences and Platform product team in Best Buy Digital, Analytics and Technology organization. This product group is responsible for commerce on digital channels (web, app), retail orders for delayed fulfillment (non-grab & go), External Marketplace, which includes Amazon, eBay and Partner Plus, and our consumer-first healthcare offerings. We work cross functionally to ensure frictionless design and presentation of the essential details for the customer to complete their purchase with confidence and ease.
Project Description:
This product role will be an embedded member of the digital commerce team, which owns the bestbuy.com and Best Buy app purchasing experiences. Applicants should have passion and experience in creating data driven insights to the team in order to understand and focus hypotheses that will solve customer’s problems in ways that drive business value. Applicant must have the ability to dig into data, but also to collaborate and bring team members along the journey to understand why the data matters.
Position Summary/Job Description:
Best Buy is seeking an experienced digital Product Manager knowledgeable in core disciplines of Agile practices including data and analytics to drive insights and feasibility in the ecommerce buying experiences. This role is central to ensuring experiences are intuitive and we are continuously improving our ability to improve based on our core OKRs.

What are the top five skills and number of years of experience required to perform this job?
•       5+ years’ experience in a fast-paced company focused on B2C ecommerce
•       2+ years’ experience as a Product Manager, specifically comfortable with tools and skills needed for success – such as Adobe Customer Journey Analytics, Content Square, Jira, Confluence, etc.
SKILLS:
1.      Proven ability to analyze complex data sets and leverage that analysis to make data driven product decisions.
2.      Proven ability to prioritize new feature launches based on competitive analysis, industry trends, emerging technologies, and enterprise OKRs.
3.      Proven ability to influence cross functional team(s) without formal authority.
4.      Experience and understanding of product model, design thinking and A/B testing methods, and web analytics.
5.      Proven ability to articulate clear and concise information regarding customer needs, data and insights, competitive landscape, concept feasibility, etc.
What are some preferred/nice to have skills the manager is looking for?
•       Ability to understand basic and complex architectural diagrams and data flows
•       Proven ability to work under iterative development cycles with cross-functional teams
•       Experience with various platforms/tools for qualitative and quantitative data mining
