Job description

We are seeking an Associate Web Developer, AEO Strategist, and AI Experience Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role combines front-end development, HubSpot CMS execution, multi-site web operations, answer engine optimization, and enterprise AI-enabled digital experience development. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, technically curious, and comfortable managing and optimizing six websites while creating high-quality, conversion-focused digital experiences. This person will also help develop AEO strategies and build, test, and maintain AI agents and bots within approved enterprise AI tools to improve discoverability, engagement, and operational efficiency.

How you will contribute:

Manage, prioritize, and optimize six web properties, ensuring consistent performance, quality assurance, brand alignment, and timely execution across sites.

Create scalable website standards, reusable HubSpot modules, templates, documentation, and governance practices that support efficient multi-site management.

  • Build and maintain custom modules, templates, and themes within HubSpot CMS, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
  • Translate UI/UX design wireframes into code that produces visual elements of the application.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to implement website changes, landing pages, and email templates that support campaign goals.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, using data to inform technical decisions.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and maintain brand consistency across all web properties. (Figma translation to HubSpot)

Develop and execute AEO strategies, including structured content, schema-informed optimization, answer-focused page experiences, and measurement approaches for AI-driven search visibility.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and technical challenges promptly.
  • Manage integrations between HubSpot and third-party applications or APIs to ensure smooth data flow.

Design, build, test, document, and maintain AI agents and bots within approved enterprise AI tools, including prompt design, knowledge source configuration, governance, and stakeholder enablement.

  • Stay updated on the latest HubSpot features and web development trends to recommend improvements and innovations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: 3+ years of professional web development experience, with at least 2 years specifically working within the HubSpot CMS environment.
  • HubL Proficiency: Deep understanding and practical experience with HubSpot Markup Language (HubL).
  • Core Web Technologies: Strong command of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery.
  • Added Advantage HubSpot Certifications: Web Development Certification required. Current HubSpot CMS for Developers certification strongly preferred.
  • Responsive Design: Proven track record of building responsive websites that look great on any device.
  • Version Control: Experience with Git or similar version control systems.
  • Problem Solving: A realistic and analytical approach to troubleshooting complex coding issues.
  • Communication: Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly and confidently.
  • Business Analytics: Proficient in gathering business requirement, ability to document business requirement into technical requirements, perform and facilitate UAT, manage deployment process.

Enterprise AI Tools: Experience using enterprise AI platforms such as Copilot, Gemini, ChatGPT Enterprise, or similar tools, with practical knowledge of prompt engineering and AI agent or bot creation.

  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with other CMS platforms ( WebFlow) to assist with potential migration projects.

Experience managing multiple websites or digital properties simultaneously, including release planning, issue prioritization, documentation, and cross-functional stakeholder coordination.

Experience creating or maintaining AI agents, chatbots, or automated digital assistants within governed enterprise environments.

Knowledge of SEO, AEO, and GEO best practices, including structured content, schema implementation, answer-focused optimization, and technical approaches that improve visibility across traditional and AI-driven discovery experiences.

  • Experience with API integrations and managing data syncs between HubSpot and CRMs like Salesforce.
  • Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and how to code for inclusivity.
  • Knowledge in Agile Methodology, familiar with SNOW incident management.
