Job description

Wilson Sonsini is the premier legal advisor to technology, life sciences, and other growth enterprises worldwide. We represent companies at every stage of development, from entrepreneurial start-ups to multibillion-dollar global corporations, as well as the venture firms, private equity firms, and investment banks that finance and advise them. The firm has approximately 1,100 attorneys in 17 offices: 13 in the U.S., two in China, and two in Europe. Our broad spectrum of practices and entrepreneurial spirit allow exceptional opportunities for professional achievement and career growth.

Wilson Sonsini is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to join our Innovations team. The software developers on our team are the primary contributors to Neuron on both the frontend and the backend. You will work closely with a fully remote team of designers, developers, and stakeholders to add new capabilities to the Neuron platform, as well as maintain existing features and infrastructure.

You will be involved in all aspects of software development, including distributed system design. While you will have a high degree of autonomy, collaboration is a core part of the role. You'll work collaboratively with other developers to design and implement changes.

This position is available as a fully remote work schedule.

  • You sweat the small stuff. If a detail feels off, you notice, say something to the team, build consensus on how to fix it, and then fix it
  • You're comfortable giving direction as well as taking it
  • You verify your work is correct as you're doing it

Requirements

  • Fluency in software design principles
  • Experience with test-driven development
