For both jobs, you work from home either in a virtual environment, such as video conferencing, or via the telephone.

What does a remote French job involve?

A Remote French job typically refers to a position that requires proficiency in the French language and can be performed from any location, rather than at a traditional office. Job description

Are you a problem-solver with a passion for automation and AI? At Synera, we're looking for a Solution Engineer who thrives on tackling complex challenges, collaborating with customers, and crafting innovative workflows that make a real impact.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
As a Solution Shark, you'll have a front-row seat to how companies like BMW, Airbus, and NASA tackle their toughest engineering challenges. You'll join Lillian, Santiago, Jess, Simon, Ben, Mohammad, Daniel, Rahman and Bobby - a team where everyone brings their unique skills to the table. From building custom agents to solving aerospace puzzles to automating drop-test simulations, our Sharks empower each other and share knowledge, growing together.
In this role, you'll work with exceptional engineers, build workflows that connect 80+ tools (CAD, simulation, costing, and more), and turn complex problems into automated solutions.
If you're the kind of person who uses AI and every other tool at your disposal to work smarter & faster, and the idea of solving different puzzles makes you light up - we'd love to have you on the team!
What a week at Synera could look like:
  • Monday: Kick off the week with Customer Success (CS) and Tech Sales meetings to align on key priorities.
  • Tuesday: Create a teaser demo for a leading automotive or aerospace company like BMW or Airbus, helping the Sales team to land faster.
  • Wednesday: Participate in a hackathon at one of our customers, working hands-on to develop innovative solutions.
  • Thursday: You join weekly meetings with your customers to solve their questions and consult them in the best approach to use our software.
  • Friday: Join the knowledge exchange session with fellow Solution Engineers and Forward Deployed Engineers, then answer incoming support tickets to ensure that our time to first response stays below 4 hours.

Yes, we take our team name very seriously - join our Solution Sharks in their natural habitat!
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
We believe in transparent conversations about compensation from the start. For this role, our planned salary ranges are:
  • Intermediate Level: $95,900 - $119,700 annually
  • Experienced Level: $117,200 - $152,200 annually

We determine the level we hire you for based on your experience, the scope of responsibilities you'll take on, and the impact you can drive. While we typically hire within these bands, we're open to some flexibility for candidates who bring exceptional value to the role.
Check out this page to learn how we approach salary, career growth, and creating an environment where everyone can shine.
What we offer beyond salary:
  • Flexible working: you decide when & where to work (as long as you have a residency in the US).
  • Flexible public holidays: swap days off according to your values and beliefs!
  • Home office setup support + access to our co-working space in Boston.
  • Personal development budget of $2,500. You'll also have the chance to grow together with us!
  • We don't count your vacation days, as we trust all our team members to decide what's best for them and the company.
  • To support your personal and professional well-being, we offer reimbursement up to $100 per month toward a gym membership or fitness centre of your choice, and the mental health platform nilo.
  • Regular team events, virtual coffee breaks, and spontaneous afterworks. We also get together as a whole company once a year, and organize local meet-ups!

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Even if you don't meet these criteria perfectly but believe you have lots to bring to the role, we encourage you to apply. We know it's tough, but please keep in mind that you don't have to match all the listed requirements exactly to be considered for this role.
  • You resonate with Synera's Core Values - they're central to how we work, and we'll explore them together in your first interview.
  • Technical background in the Computational, Automation or Mechanical Engineering field.
  • Proven experience in working with customers, demonstrating strong communication skills and the ability to showcase business value with technical solutions.
  • Experience with CAD/CAE tools (e.g. OptiStruct, Siemens NX, CATIA, ANSYS, Nastran, Abaqus, LS-DYNA etc.) and scripting (Python, C#).
  • You are deeply engaged with AI for solving technical challenges.
  • You can juggle multiple priorities and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • You are fluent in English and enjoy collaborating with customers, explaining complex topics in a clear, engaging manner. If you speak any other languages like German or French, it's a great bonus!

P.S. Synera is a place where everyone can grow. So, however you identify and whatever background you bring with you, please apply if this is a role that would make you excited to come to work every day, and be prepared to share with us how your perspective will bring something unique and valuable to our Solution Sharks team.
