Strong language proficiency, cultural awareness, and attention to detail are essential. Many translators work as freelancers, while some may be employed by translation agencies or companies.

What does a remote French translator do?

The role is largely independent, but collaboration with project managers and other linguists is common to ensure quality and consistency. Flexibility in scheduling is often available, making this a great option for those seeking work-life balance.
