Job Description: Lester's Mental Health Counseling PC is seeking a compassionate and experienced Bilingual (Spanish/Creole/French) Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team. This remote position offers the flexibility and convenience of working from home while providing crucial mental health services to our diverse clientele. In this role, you will deliver individual, family, and group therapy services, primarily to Spanish-speaking clients. You will collaborate with clients to identify their mental health concerns, develop treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions.
Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify mental health concerns and determine appropriate treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy services to primarily Spanish/Creole/French-speaking clients.
  • Collaborate with clients' families, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with state regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in the field.
Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling (MHC).
  • Full licensure as a Mental Health Counselor in the state.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Experience working with primarily Spanish-speaking clients.
  • Strong assessment and treatment planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Licensed in NYS.
