With a team of qualified professionals, we are committed to addressing a wide range of social issues impacting our community. We prioritize confidentiality and accept various insurance plans, including Medicaid, Medicare, and most private health insurance providers, ensuring accessibility to mental health care for all.

Work Environment

The LPC will work in a fully remote setting, leveraging technology to connect with clients and collaborate with the primary care team. This flexibility allows for a balanced work-life integration while ensuring that our clients receive consistent and high-quality mental health support. • Collaborate closely with primary care providers to monitor patient progress, ensuring a holistic approach to each individualโ€™s healthcare plan.
  • Document clinical findings, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with agency and Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) guidelines.
  • Identify at-risk patients and formulate relapse prevention plans, helping to enhance their stability and functioning within the community.
  • Coordinate care with other behavioral health service providers, linking patients with additional resources as necessary.
  • Maintain effective communication with primary care teams to stay updated on patientsโ€™ holistic care requirements and successes.
  • Provide training and support to patients regarding self-management techniques, empowering them to actively participate in their recovery journey.
  • Participate in regular consultation sessions with clinic management to discuss program evaluation and improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere to the Code of Ethical Conduct for Clinical Professionals, ensuring the highest standards of practice are maintained at all times.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The LPC will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals struggling with mental health issues, emotional distress, and psychological disorders. Our focus is on providing culturally competent care that respects the unique backgrounds of each client. Clients may present with various challenges, from anxiety and depression to more complex psychosocial conditions. Your role will be critical in facilitating healing and empowering clients towards improved mental health outcomes.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s Degree in Clinical Counseling is required.
  • Current LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) licensure in Texas.
  • Strong knowledge of mental health assessment practices, treatment planning, and psychotherapeutic methods.
  • A deep understanding of developmental psychopathology, family therapy, and behavioral therapy techniques.
  • Proficiency in English; bilingual capabilities in English and Spanish are preferred but not required.
  • Capacity to evaluate patient needs and adapt care plans accordingly for optimal outcomes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport and maintain partnerships with patients, their families, and colleagues.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in a community health setting or a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse caseload and handle various mental health challenges.
  • Knowledge of community resources and established networks for reference and support.
