Role:
- Deploy, configure, and maintain VMware infrastructure.
- Provide subject matter expertise in troubleshooting all issues related to the VMware server infrastructure.
- Plan and manage workloads, projects, and other administrative tasks associated with the VMware Server team.
- Manage the administrative and design tasks for the virtualized server infrastructure
- Lead virtualization architecture activities for new product and technology initiatives, including architecture of applications, integration, data, infrastructure, and security, while ensuring alignment with the Architecture Roadmap with business objectives.
Required
- 8-10 years' experience minimum.
- Min one year of experience in developing PowerShell scripts.
- Knowledge of HCI - Hyper Converged Infrastructure
- Knowledge of clustering
- Knowledge of VXRail, VSAN etc.
- Experience with VDI ex: Horizon View
- Strong Virtualization knowledge
- Must be able to work both collaboratively and independently and take initiative to identify, track, and resolve issues
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2012 or higher
- Demonstrated experience with VMware ESXi, vCenter, and associated tools.
- Good Knowledge on Agile/Scrum methodologies
