  • They must bring deep services pricing expertise, a strong strategic and operational mindset, and the ability to drive clarity and execution in nebulous, cross-functional environments

Key Responsibilities
Pricing Strategy & Design

  • Conduct cost modeling, customer value analysis, competitive benchmarking, and TCO analysis.
  • Develop pricing frameworks aligned with cloud consumption models, Units pricing, and ARR expansion motions.
  • Drive the evolution from cost-plus to value-based pricing across the Services portfolio and continuous improvement of pricing processes to remove friction and safely accelerate sales velocity for the Services organization.

Operational Execution
  • Own end-to-end pricing execution, including systems readiness (CPQ/OCI), documentation, enablement, and field rollout.
  • Partner with Product Ops and CPQ teams to ensure accurate configuration, orderability, and SKU governance.
  • Establish scalable pricing processes for annual reviews, new launches, and price changes.

Analytics & Insights
  • Lead analytical efforts to identify margin opportunities, pricing leakage, and optimization levers.
  • Build dashboards and KPIs to measure pricing performance and inform strategic decisions.

Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Serve as the primary pricing partner to Services leadership, Product Management, and Finance.
  • Drive alignment across stakeholders and influence decisions at senior levels.
  • Communicate pricing strategies and recommendations clearly to executive audiences.

Who You'll Work With
This leader will partner closely with Product, Services, Sales, Finance, and Marketing to design, operationalize, and optimize pricing strategies that maximize revenue, margin, and customer value across cloud and hybrid deployments.
What Makes You a Qualified Candidate
  • 8+ years of experience developing and implementing pricing strategies (aaS, recurring revenue, consumption-based models).
  • 3+ years in technology or cloud services; data warehousing or analytics experience preferred.
  • Strong Services pricing experience in a B2B or B2B2E product company, ideally in cloud or enterprise software.
  • Deep understanding of the full spectrum of services: Support, Consulting, Managed Services, Transaction Services, and AI Services.
  • Strong strategic and operational mindset; able to zoom out to strategy and zoom in to execution.
  • Deep understanding of data and computing technologies (compute, storage, cloud architectures).
  • Proven ability to develop and communicate innovative pricing strategies.
  • Strong research capabilities-qualitative, quantitative, and customer value research.
  • Highly collaborative, with the ability to influence across Product, Services, Sales, and Finance.
  • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.

What You'll Bring
  • MBA or advanced degree.
  • Experience with analytics tools and experimentation frameworks.
  • Prior experience in cloud infrastructure, data platforms, or enterprise SaaS.
