Job description

Surgeon (Orthpedics/Neurosurgical Spine)

Schedule: Part-time

Locations: Seattle, WA; Salt Lake City, UT; Portland, OR; and Boise, ID. Travel expenses paid by us.

Job Summary: The Spine Specialist will perform clinical evaluations, injury causation analysis, and forensic case review for patients involved in accidents

Role and Responsibilities:

• Injury Evaluation: Assess patients with accident-related orthopedic injuries.

• Forensic Case Review: Provide objective opinions on injury causation, treatment needs, and case progression.

• Medical Reporting: Prepare clear, concise documentation for clinical and medicolegal use.

• Attorney & Claims Communication: Answer questions, clarify findings, and support case understanding.

• Imaging Interpretation: Review and interpret relevant imaging studies.

• Collaborative Care: Work with internal providers and external partners to support coordinated patient care.

• Ensure adherence to clinical, regulatory, and HIPAA standards  

Qualifications:

• MD or DO with strong experience treating spine and orthopedic conditions

• Experience with IMEs, causation opinions, or medicolegal reporting is beneficial, but we can facilitate relevant training

• Ability to explain complex findings to non-clinical audiences

• Professional Documentation

• Comfortable producing clear, defensible written reports

• Prior telehealth experience demonstrating ability to deliver high-quality remote patient care effectively

• Active practice or retired Board Certified Physicians
