This role is based in a remote outpatient office setting, allowing you to connect with clients from the comfort of your own space while maintaining a flexible work schedule. • Conduct thorough initial assessments to gain a comprehensive understanding of clients' mental health concerns and collaborate with them in developing effective treatment plans tailored to their unique needs.
• Facilitate one-on-one therapy sessions applying evidence-based techniques to address a broad spectrum of mental health issues, ensuring individualized care for each client.
• Provide crisis intervention services and support to clients in distress while ensuring a safe environment for all individuals served.
• Maintain detailed and confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards, utilizing electronic medical records systems where applicable.
• Engage in regular training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices and latest research in mental health counseling.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care, ensuring clients have a robust support system throughout their therapeutic journey.
• Contribute ideas for program development and ongoing quality improvement initiatives within the organization.

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other emotional challenges. Your empathetic approach and commitment to cultural competence will help establish rapport with clients from various backgrounds, enabling you to offer inclusive and affirming care.

• Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT in California.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport effectively with clients.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, facilitating clear collaboration with colleagues and clients alike.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• A minimum of two years of experience in providing counseling services to individuals facing emotional challenges, although recent graduates with relevant internships are also encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems enhances the ability to maintain accurate client documentation.
• A demonstrated commitment to cultural competence and inclusivity in counseling practices.

As a full-time member of our counseling team, you can expect an annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000. In addition, we offer a monthly healthcare stipend to our counselors to help support your well-being.
