Position: Project Administrator – Turnaround

We are currently hiring an experienced Project Administrator for a turnaround project at the CNRL Horizon Site. This is a fly-in/fly-out opportunity with camp accommodations provided, charter flights available from Edmonton or Calgary, and competitive rates. The successful candidate will support a fast-paced turnaround environment and play a key role in coordinating administrative functions throughout the duration of the project.


Qualifications & Education:

  • Previous experience in a Project Administrator, Site Administrator, or similar administrative role
  • Experience working in the Oil & Gas or Industrial Construction industry is considered a strong asset
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills preferred
  • Experience with Aimsio or similar workforce management software is an asset
  • Ability to commit to a 12 & 2 rotation, working up to 12-hour days for the full duration of the turnaround
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License


Skills, Attributes, and Responsibilities:

  • Manage employee schedules, shift rotations, absences, and vacation requests
  • Prepare, distribute, and reconcile daily sign-in sheets and employee timesheets
  • Process overtime request forms, obtain required client approvals, and ensure accurate payroll documentation
  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports required by Canoco and the client
  • Coordinate vehicle passes, visitor passes, and maintain tracking of expiry dates
  • Process personnel changes, update employee records in Aimsio, and communicate updates with head office
  • Coordinate employee onboarding activities, including site training registrations
  • Manage employee terminations by completing documentation, updating schedules, cancelling bookings, and notifying appropriate personnel
  • Support the coordination and communication of site logistics
  • Provide administrative support to site supervision and project personnel
  • Thrive in a fast-paced turnaround environment while maintaining accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
  • Demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills while maintaining a commitment to safety, quality, and professionalism
