What We Look For In a Fluid Mechanics Tutor

  • Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction: Familiar with fluid mechanics curricula and common challenges such as applying the Reynolds transport theorem, understanding viscous versus inviscid flow assumptions, and interpreting dimensional analysis results. Adapts instruction using flow visualization videos, worked engineering examples, and computational fluid dynamics demonstrations to support engineering students at the undergraduate and introductory graduate levels.
  • Effective Teaching Methods: Ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with, explain material using multiple approaches, and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
  • Ability to adapt to different learning styles and student needs.
