• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect the unique needs and circumstances of each patient.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including solution-focused brief therapy and cognitive-behavioral therapy, to facilitate patient progress.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with both legal and organizational standards, utilizing our electronic health record system.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that may include psychiatrists, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and strategies for coping with challenges.
• Stay current with the latest research and developments in mental health practices to ensure the highest standard of care.

Your work will focus primarily on individuals undergoing detoxification and those dealing with substance use disorders, as well as co-occurring mental health issues. You will engage with a diverse client population, including adults from various backgrounds, each presenting unique challenges and requiring tailored psychological support. Your role in facilitating their recovery journey is vital to improving their quality of life.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license to practice in the state of Florida.
• Demonstrated proficiency in solution-based psychotherapy methods and interventions.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to connect empathetically with clients.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities to address the diverse needs of patients effectively.

• Minimum of two years of experience working in a mental health or substance use treatment setting.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and clinical documentation practices.
• Experience in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans for individuals with co-occurring disorders.
