As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals—including psychiatrists, psychologists, and nursing staff—to devise and implement effective treatment plans for clients requiring mental health support.
• Conducting comprehensive clinical evaluations to assess clients’ needs, strengths, and areas for improvement.
• Facilitating evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
• Educating clients and their families on mental health issues, available resources, and coping strategies, ensuring they feel empowered and informed.
• Continuously staying abreast of the latest trends and best practices in mental health care by participating in professional development opportunities, webinars, and workshops.

The clients you will serve range from children to adults, many of whom face challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and other psychosocial stressors. Candidates should possess:

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• An active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Virginia.

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented approach.

In addition to the mandatory qualifications, candidates with at least 2 years of post-graduate experience in a clinical setting are preferred. Experience with telehealth practices, crisis intervention, and community resource navigation will be advantageous in this role.
