• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients exhibiting signs of mental or emotional disorders, employing assessment tools and consultations with other healthcare providers as necessary.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that include evidence-based interventions and coping strategies tailored to individual patient needs.
• Engage in regular therapy sessions that focus on trauma recovery, enhancing emotional resilience, and managing mental health symptoms through proven therapeutic methods.
• Monitor patient progress closely and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes, maintaining thorough and accurate documentation throughout the treatment process.
• Educate patients and their families about coping mechanisms related to stress and trauma, equipping them with the tools necessary to navigate life's challenges effectively.
• Coordinate with social services, medical professionals, and community outreach programs to facilitate comprehensive care for patients.
• Commit to ongoing professional development by completing required continuing education courses to maintain certification and stay informed about the latest trends in mental health treatment.

As a Mental Health Counselor at Flourish Mental Health, you will primarily work with trauma injury patients seeking assistance in overcoming emotional and psychological challenges. These individuals may have experienced significant life events leading to conditions such as PTSD, anxiety, depression, or other stress-related disorders. Your role is crucial in facilitating their emotional healing and supporting them in achieving personal growth and overall mental wellness.

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field.
• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification.
• A minimum of three years of experience working with trauma patients, demonstrating a deep understanding of their unique needs and challenges.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite to document patient interactions and prepare clinical reports.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient interaction and collaboration with the healthcare team.

• Experience with Salesforce or other Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems is highly desirable, facilitating efficient patient management and follow-up.
• Familiarity with a variety of therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness practices, and trauma-informed care.
