Job Summary:
HCL Global Systems Inc is seeking a Network Security Administrator to provide specialized network and cyber security administration support for state agencies. The role involves managing network security tasks, ensuring compliance with security standards, and maintaining secure network infrastructures.
Responsibilities:
• Review and execution of Firewall Service Requests (FSRs), break-fix tickets, and formal change requests.
• Facilitating the decommissioning and 'refresh' of End-of-Life (EOL) hardware on a recurring basis.
• Implementing security controls and configurations to ensure agencies remain in alignment with IRS, FBI, and CJI compliance standards.
• Technical configuration and management of Cisco ASA and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Participation in a weekly on-call rotation to address after-hours incidents.
• Availability for scheduled maintenance windows or emergency response situations outside of standard business hours.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Candidate must be local or willing to commute or relocate.
• Must be able to pass Criminal, financial backgrounds and drug test.
• Palo Alto Firewalls: Next-generation firewall features such as, Zones, security policies, S2S VPN, Natting, and basic threat prevention.
• Cisco ASA Firewalls: Configuration, troubleshooting, and rule management.
• General Networking: foundational knowledge of routing protocols, subnetting, OSI model ETC.
