Job description

Are you looking for a remote sales role with the opportunity to travel?
Article Student Living is looking for a National Sales Specialist (NSS) to join our team to help grow the portfolio and lead leasing and marketing goals from the corporate team to the site level. As a brand ambassador and champion of Article Student Living properties, the NSS will partner with on-site staff to ensure occupancy and renewal goals. You will also create marketing plans, train on-site staff, analyze market trends, and present to colleagues in operations, asset management, or other areas to support these trends. You will travel up to 75% of the time to properties throughout the portfolio that require proximity to a major airport.
Reporting to: Director of Leasing and Property Management.
Pay range is $65,000-$70,000, plus an annual bonus.

National Sales Specialist Responsibilities
  • Implement marketing techniques and plans to secure 100% occupancy at each property
  • Develop property marketing plans with leadership; lead the training of professional and student staff of marketing/leasing projects and lead the execution of marketing plans at the property level
  • Partner with Regional Managers to propose any necessary rate adjustments with supported documentation
  • Traffic demographics and response to market trends
  • Monitor and react to weekly occupancy and leasing reports and statistics
  • Participate in and conduct market competition surveys
  • Compile and submit all required reports within the requested time frames
  • Conduct or oversee the completion of follow-up techniques
  • Help present programs and set up displays at University functions.
  • Respond to leasing information requests from departments on campus and designated properties
  • Seek out and develop relationships with campus departments and other partners and co-vending opportunities

Your Track Record
  • Bachelor's degree required, with a preference for marketing, advertising, communications, or public relations majors
  • 3+ years of progressive professional experience in student housing or multi-family housing marketing and leasing
  • 2+years of management experience
  • Experience in lease-up of new build projects
  • Experience analyzing data and creating reports
  • Experience with marketing, sales, and operational processes
