$70,000 per year + commissions
Restoration Estimator
Our Restoration Estimator prepares scopes and estimates for reconstruction and emergency services on site, scoping losses, creating estimates using Xactimate software, and securing the project. This is a fully-remote role.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Bid Accuracy: Strong attention detail, reducing errors and omissions.
  • Higher Win Rates: Ability to create more competitive and professional bids faster.
  • Time Savings: Ability to free up project managers to focus on active jobs
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Inspect properties for damage to include interior damage
  • Meet with home and property owners to conduct on-site inspections and scope generation.
  • Complete estimates within 24 hours of assignment.
  • Meet all service standards set forth by the client or the company.
  • Estimate each loss using a 3rd party estimating software, Xactimate or Symbility.
  • Work closely with insured and interested parties to obtain agreement and close opportunity.
  • Ensure each project achieves a minimum gross profit margin as determined by company standards.
  • Communicate and document any change orders and insurance supplements.
  • Build and maintain business relationships with insurance adjusters, brokers, and TPAs.
  • Responsible for being the first contact for homeowners when participating in the on-call rotation.
  • Meet Net Promoter Score of minimum monthly average of 70.
  • Closing the Loop 100% of the time within 24 hours.
Competency Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Knowledge of our main operating systems; RMS, Xactimate and Symbility

  • Ability to learn and operate our primary operating systems

Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent industry experience
  • Experience with Xactimate and Symbility software
Physical Requirement
  • Must be able to climb and scope roofs
  • Must be able to stay in a stationary position up to 80% of the time
  • The person in this position needs to frequently move about a customer job site (indoors and outdoors)
  • Occasionally ascends and descends a ladder to service customer sites
  • Must be able to communicate and converse with customers over the phone and face to face
  • Ability to safely operate a company vehicle
