What you'll do

As a key member of the Go-to-Market (GTM) finance team, you will support several marketing business units that span across corporate marketing and communications. Your core responsibilities will include 1) financial analysis and modeling in support of strategic initiatives, 2) preparation of key financial forecasts including annual plans, quarterly outlooks, and monthly forecasts, 3) presentation of performance insights and actionable recommendations to management to influence the direction of the business, and 4) serve as collaborator and trusted partner to the business.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Sr. Director of FP&A.

Responsibility

  • Serve as the primary finance business partner to the corporate marketing and communications teams

  • Build deep business partner relationships across the organization by establishing trust and gaining an understanding of relevant business drivers

  • Partner with the broader GTM finance team and cross functional partners on business and financial insights, and process improvements to address evolving business dynamics

  • Develop financial models to streamline decision-making and highlight key drivers of past, current and future business performance

  • Own annual budgeting, monthly close, and forecast processes inclusive of headcount and discretionary spend for business units supported

  • Support the broader Growth FP&A team with forecast consolidations and annual planning

  • Create presentations, reports and dashboards to advise senior leadership on the financial performance of their teams and provide guidance on opportunities and risks

  • Undertake ad hoc strategic projects

What you bring

Basic

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Finance, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in finance with emphasis on budgeting, forecasting, annual planning, and financial modeling

  • FP&A experience in a corporate environment at a publicly-traded company or at an investment bank

  • Experience with Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel and financial modeling

Preferred

  • Prior experience supporting Go-to-Market (GTM) teams

  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to develop strategic recommendations

  • Ability to influence leadership with excellence in verbal and written communications

  • Ability to work independently, think objectively, and provide meaningful and insightful narratives based on both quantitative as well as qualitative data

  • Strong team player with a desire for continuous learning and improvement

  • Strong financial acumen with proficiency in accounting principles and corporate finance valuation concepts

  • Experience with financial and ERP systems, such as Oracle and Adaptive Planning

Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $105,800.00 - $163,450.00 base salary

Washington, Maryland, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $101,400.00 - $145,475.00 base salary

This role is also eligible for the following:

  • Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
