Arms Control Analyst and Site Lead
The Opportunity:
As an Arms Control Analyst and Site Lead, you thrive on the challenge of analyzing complex problems and providing actionable recommendations to senior leadership, while overseeing both daily team operations and performance to meet client goals and expectations. We need an experienced research analyst like you to help us solve complex problems for our clients. On our Strategic Deterrence and Nuclear Integration services support team, you'll assess, analyze, and advise your United States Air Force (USAF) client on arms control measures, nonproliferation strategies, and related security programs.
In this role, you'll use your advanced policy, technical, and analytical skills to support a full range of arms control activities, such as control policy formulation and dissemination, implementation and compliance, exercises and inspection, education and training, modernization and acquisition, and conference and meeting support. Leveraging your exceptional leadership skills, you will oversee daily operations of the site service support team, providing resources, guidance, and inspiration to successfully execute tasking focused on arms control policy formulation, development and dissemination.

You Have:
  • 10+ years of experience in supporting arms control, counterproliferation, nonproliferation, strategic deterrence, treaty implementation, or international security programs
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and overseeing day-to-day operations, managing and allocating resources, ensuring regulatory and security compliance, and coordinating with contractors, government agencies, and international partners
  • Experience in designing, developing, and conducting training programs, exercise, and inspections
  • Experience with the Arms Control Enterprise System (ACES) and Information Resources Support System (IRSS)
  • Knowledge of Department of War (DoW) program modernization and acquisition impacts on treaty compliance
  • Ability to assess strategic weapons systems, force posture development, and international security trends
  • Ability to provide full logistical support for client-sponsored conferences, workshops, and meetings
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Political Science, National Security Studies, Public Policy, or Strategic Studies

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with HQ USAF, Joint Staff, STRATCOM, or AFGSC
  • Experience with Air Force Material Command and Air Force Life Cycle Management Center
  • Ability to produce senior-level written products and present technical analysis to senior leaders and staff
  • Arms Control, Security, or Policy, such as Nonproliferation certifications
  • Completion of Arms Control Professional Training
  • Completion of Nuclear Security and Strategic Deterrence Courses

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
