Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE: The Financial Analyst, FP&A is responsible for supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis to provide insights that inform business decisions. This role partners with department leaders, Accounting, Operations Finance, and senior Finance leadership to analyze financial performance, monitor key business drivers, and identify opportunities to improve financial and operational results.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis (budget vs. actual)
  • Partner with department leaders to track spend against budget and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Prepare, review, and distribute financial reports to business stakeholders
  • Support month-end close activities in coordination with the accounting team
  • Ensure data integrity across financial systems and reporting tools
  • Support the annual budgeting process and periodic forecast updates across business units
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights on trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Assist in preparing materials for executive and board-level presentations
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models
  • Help maintain and improve financial reporting tools, templates, and processes
  • Assist in process implementation and manage various initiatives from a financial perspective
  • Build and foster relationships throughout the organization, creating an environment of collaboration
Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • 1-3 years' Finance or Accounting experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling, pivot tables, lookups, and complex formulas, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint and Word.
  • Experience with Oracle EPM system and MS Dynamics 365 accounting system a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to present financial data to non-finance stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong self-motivated team player
