• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health needs, utilizing standardized diagnostic tools to inform treatment strategies.
• Deliver personalized one-on-one counseling sessions, skillfully guiding clients through various mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders.
• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions that promote peer support and psychoeducation, addressing common issues and fostering a sense of community among participants.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that articulate clear therapeutic goals and strategies, regularly updating plans to reflect clients' progress and changing needs.
• Provide crisis intervention as necessary, offering immediate support and conducting risk assessments to ensure client safety and well-being during challenging situations.
• Maintain knowledge of current best practices and developments in the field through proactive engagement in professional development opportunities, including workshops, conferences, and continuing education courses.
• Collaborate regularly with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to create a comprehensive support system for clients.

You will work with a diverse client population that may include individuals facing depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, and various other mental health disorders. Understanding the unique backgrounds and specific needs of each client is essential. Your role will entail showing empathy and tailoring your therapeutic approaches to meet the unique contexts and experiences of each client.

• A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
• Currently licensed as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida, with a commitment to complying with all state regulations regarding licensure.
• A minimum of three years of post-graduate supervised clinical hours is necessary, ensuring you have substantial real-world experience in mental health counseling.
• A strong understanding of assessment methodologies, therapeutic techniques, and evidence-based practices is critical to effectively support your clients.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish trust and rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

• Experience working in outpatient settings with a focus on telehealth services is preferred, allowing for seamless adaptation to remote therapy practices.
• Specialized training or certifications in areas such as trauma-directed therapy, addiction counseling, or family therapy are viewed favorably and may distinguish you as a prime candidate.
