The position requires collaboration across teams to optimize portfolio outcomes, negotiate agreements, and deliver comprehensive reporting to senior leadership. The role emphasizes continuous improvement, data-driven forecasting, and alignment with long-term energy objectives, ensuring effective capital deployment and advancing Walmart's commitment to renewable energy and emissions reduction.

The Offsite Energy Investments team leads Walmart's grid-connected clean energy initiatives by managing tax-advantaged investments and power purchase agreements in deregulated markets. Collaborating with developers, utilities, and internal partners, the team structures transactions to unlock federal tax credits and attract capital. Their work supports new generation capacity, enhances grid reliability, and mitigates electricity cost exposure. Through strategic portfolio management and partnerships, the team advances Walmart's energy strategy, delivering long-term financial value aligned with company goals.
