The remote outpatient office setting at Grand Garden allows counselors to provide care in a flexible and comfortable setting. Counselors will engage with clients through telehealth platforms, ensuring access to mental health services regardless of location. • Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations during initial consultations and throughout the treatment process, carefully documenting each case.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups, based on thorough assessments of mental, behavioral, and emotional health.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices and innovative therapeutic techniques to reach client goals.
• Monitor and evaluate clients’ progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
• Work closely with other health professionals, including psychiatrists and primary care providers, to ensure a cohesive approach to client care.
• Maintain follow-up communication with clients, ensuring continuity of care and addressing any emerging issues promptly.
• Provide guidance and support to families and primary caregivers, helping them navigate the challenges of mental health management.

As a counselor, you will support a diverse array of clients struggling with various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your role is crucial in helping clients identify their needs, develop coping strategies, and work towards meaningful change in their lives. With a focus on recovery-oriented care, you will empower clients to take an active role in their mental health journey.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Arizona.
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
• Demonstrated ability to engage with clients effectively, exhibiting strong analytical and assessment skills.
• Proficient in the use of electronic health records, particularly with platforms such as AVATAR.

• Strong understanding of co-occurring physical and mental health conditions, including addiction disorders.
• Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to create comprehensive treatment plans.
• Knowledge of the best practices advocated by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to articulate treatment plans and progress clearly.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating compassion and sensitivity towards each client's experiences.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $110,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
