This role requires strong hands-on experience developing Single Page Applications (SPAs), building scalable backend services and APIs, and working with relational databases. The ideal candidate combines strong application engineering fundamentals with a bias toward action, excellent communication skills, and technical leadership.
Experience with Databricks Apps and the broader Databricks platform is highly desirable but not required. Key Responsibilities Front-End & Application Engineering Design, develop, and deploy modern Single Page Applications (SPAs) using frameworks such as React, Angular, or similar technologies. Build intuitive, responsive, and maintainable front-end experiences using modern JavaScript/TypeScript development practices.
Backend, APIs & Databases Develop scalable backend services and REST APIs using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, Node.js, or similar technologies. Design and integrate applications with relational databases, with a strong emphasis on PostgreSQL. Build end-to-end application functionality spanning front-end, backend, APIs, authentication, and data layers
Architecture & Collaboration Collaborate with data engineers, platform engineers, architects, product stakeholders, and customers to translate business requirements into working applications. Develop applications and user experiences that integrate seamlessly with data and analytics platforms. Drive technical decisions, produce clean, well-tested code, and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.
Take full ownership of deliverables, moving projects from initial concept through production deployment. Qualifications Must-Have Qualifications Full-Stack Expertise: Strong professional experience in full-stack application development.
