As a Remote Mental Health Counselor at Empower Your Life Therapy Clinic, you will:

• Conduct individual counseling sessions with clients via live video chat, prioritizing their mental health and well-being.

• Facilitate discussions that encourage clients to explore emotions and experiences, aiding them in gaining valuable insights into their lives and relationships.

• Serve as an advocate for clients, guiding them in the development of personal goals and treatment strategies that align with their unique needs.

• Assess clients' mental health conditions effectively and design comprehensive treatment plans using evidence-based and solution-focused methodologies.

Our clients consist of stable adults with low acuity mental health concerns. Each client is carefully screened before being matched with a counselor to ensure the most appropriate therapeutic relationship. This provides you the opportunity to work with individuals who may benefit from support, without the challenges presented by severe mental health cases.

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Possess a Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• Hold a full, unrestricted license in Georgia as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT, in good standing with the state board.
• Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to compassionate care.
• Demonstrate proficiency in using computer technologies and virtual counseling platforms.

While a minimum of two years of relevant pastoral experience is required, additional experience with diverse populations and various mental health concerns is highly desirable. We welcome applicants who have participated in continued professional development and training relevant to mental health counseling.

The salary range for this position is between $90,000 and $104,000 annually, depending on hours worked and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
