As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting one-to-one virtual counseling sessions via video chat to enhance clients' mental health.
• Facilitating discussions that encourage clients to articulate their emotions and experiences, helping them gain valuable insights into themselves and their relationships.
• Serving as an advocate for clients, assisting them in defining and pursuing their personal goals.
• Evaluating clients' mental health conditions and collaboratively developing and implementing tailored treatment plans that employ a solution-focused approach.
• Participating in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and therapeutic techniques.

The clients you will support are meticulously screened to ensure that you are matched with stable adults who present low acuity mental health concerns. This means that you will primarily work with individuals who are seeking guidance and support rather than those dealing with severe mental health crises. Your sessions will be tailored to align with your specialty areas and demographic interests, creating a fulfilling and productive counseling experience for both you and the clients.

To qualify for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Possess a Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Be fully licensed by the state board and in good standing to practice independently without supervision as any of the following:
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Have strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor.
• Be proficient with technology and comfortable navigating online counseling platforms.

While a minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling is required, candidates with additional expertise in specific therapeutic areas may have an advantage. Preference will be given to those who can demonstrate proficiency in modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or mindfulness-based techniques.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 104,000 annually, based on your experience and hours worked. Additionally, full-time counselors are eligible for:
