We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Patient Access Representative to support patient scheduling operations in a high-volume healthcare environment. This role is responsible for managing inbound calls, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance eligibility, and providing patients with accurate and timely information regarding services and appointments. • Answer and manage a high volume of inbound calls from patients, internal staff, and healthcare departments.
• Provide information regarding clinic services, appointment availability, and scheduling procedures.
• Schedule appointments for clinical and support service departments.
• Route inquiries and messages to the appropriate department or staff member.
• Support departmental call queues and appointment desks as needed.
• Conduct appointment reminder and confirmation calls to patients.
• Accurately enter and update patient information in electronic systems.
• Verify patient insurance coverage, including Medi-Cal HMO plans.
• Generate and distribute daily appointment schedules to appropriate departments and staff.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality while assisting patients and internal stakeholders.

• Previous call center experience required.
• Prior work-from-home experience preferred.
• Professional proficiency in both English and Spanish required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and manage a high volume of calls while maintaining accuracy.

Entry-Level

Remote position supporting multiple healthcare locations and departments in a fast-paced call center environment. Candidates must have the ability to work independently while maintaining high levels of accuracy, professionalism, and customer service.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Los Angeles, CA 90015.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
