Energy Balance Counseling Services is on the lookout for a dedicated and passionate Trauma-Focused Mental Health Therapist to join our remote therapy team. This full-time role will play a crucial part in providing specialized mental health care to individuals impacted by trauma, enhancing their recovery journey through evidence-based therapeutic practices.

Work Environment

As a fully remote position, you will have the flexibility to manage your schedule while still being part of a dynamic team committed to trauma-informed care. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to effectively evaluate patients' trauma histories and establish appropriate treatment methodologies.
  • Design, develop, and implement personalized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to each client's unique needs.
  • Employ a variety of therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate effective healing.

Qualifications
  • Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid licensure in Maryland as either an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C.
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is required.
  • Extensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment frameworks.
