• Utilize comprehensive evaluation techniques to assess clients' mental health diagnoses, develop tailored treatment plans, and maintain thorough documentation, including ongoing reviews in accordance with best practices and company policies.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by actively engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and providing empathetic support through a diverse range of therapeutic interventions.
• Implement creative approaches during counseling sessions to help clients achieve their therapeutic goals, fostering a positive and results-driven counseling experience.
• Complete session documentation in a timely manner, complying with established guidelines to ensure continuity of care and maintain accurate patient records.
• Coordinate effectively with case managers, family members, and other professionals involved in the clients' care, promoting a holistic approach to mental health.
• Engage proactively in clinical team meetings and training, sharing insights and learning opportunities that can improve our service delivery.
• Exercise flexibility and adaptability in performing additional tasks that enhance our team's effectiveness and client satisfaction.

Your primary focus will be on servicing a diverse client population, including individuals dealing with acute and chronic mental health issues. This role requires you to be attuned to the unique backgrounds, experiences, and challenges presented by clients from various cultural, socioeconomic, and demographic backgrounds. As a counselor, you will play an essential role in delivering culturally competent care that fosters trust and healing.

• A master's degree in a behavioral science or related field from an accredited institution is required.
• Active clinical licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia is mandatory.
• Proficient in both written and verbal communication, demonstrating the ability to convey complex information effectively.
• Capability to establish and maintain appropriate boundaries with clients, ensuring a professional therapeutic relationship while providing a safe environment for healing.
• Time management skills essential for completing and submitting documentation accurately and timely.

• Minimum of two years of direct experience in a counseling or mental health setting, providing therapeutic services to individuals and families.

The salary for this role ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience, in addition to a competitive benefits package that includes:
