• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to understand the unique needs of each client, leading to the formulation of personalized treatment plans rooted in evidence-based practices.
• Implement a range of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored to support clients' emotional and psychological well-being.
• Maintain meticulous clinical records in accordance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism in all client interactions.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary treatment team consisting of psychiatrists, educators, and other mental health professionals to provide holistic care.
• Participate in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to exchange insights and best practices, further enhancing the quality of care provided.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, empowering them with resources and knowledge to foster resilience and understanding.
• Stay current with the latest developments in the field of mental health to incorporate evidence-based approaches into your practice.

In this role, you will work primarily within the school system, supporting students experiencing behavioral challenges, anxiety, trauma, and depression. Our client population is diverse, requiring a tailored approach to meet the various cultural and emotional needs of each individual.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, reflecting your commitment to academic excellence.
• Active LCSW license for the state of Virginia, ensuring you meet all professional standards and regulations.
• Demonstrated proficiency in solution-focused interventions with the ability to adapt therapeutic techniques to align with client needs.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster strong connections with clients and facilitate trust in therapeutic relationships.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and critical thinking acumen to effectively navigate client complexities and support positive outcomes.

• Experience in school-based social work or with youth populations, particularly addressing issues related to trauma and mental health.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and the ability to access community resources effectively.
• Previous involvement in multidisciplinary teams and collaboration with educators and mental health professionals.
