• Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients' social, emotional, and psychological needs, utilizing standardized tools and methodologies.
• Deliver effective counseling and therapeutic support to individuals and families, leveraging evidence-based approaches tailored to their unique circumstances.
• Participate actively in team meetings and training sessions, facilitating knowledge sharing and professional growth among colleagues.
• Develop and execute individualized service plans that align with clients' goals, ensuring they have access to appropriate resources and support networks.
• Advocate for clients’ rights and access to community resources, while addressing pertinent social justice issues impacting their wellbeing.
• Collaborate with various organizations and stakeholders to enhance service delivery and community outreach initiatives.
• Engage in program development, evaluation, and grant reporting to contribute to the center's continuous improvement efforts.
• Provide group counseling sessions, fostering peer support and shared experiences for clients.

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will serve a diverse client base, including individuals coping with emotional distress, trauma, grief related to hospice care, and other psychological issues. Your work will make a significant difference during crucial times in their lives, helping to establish coping strategies and support systems.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, reflecting in-depth theoretical knowledge and practical application in the field.
• A valid and active state licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
• Demonstrated ability to conduct mental health assessments and create personalized treatment plans.
• Strong communication, empathy, and organizational skills, enabling effective engagement with clients and collaboration with professional peers.

• Experience working within nonprofit organizations or similar settings is highly desirable.
• A deep understanding of social justice equity, advocacy, and trauma-informed care principles.
• Previous engagement with diverse communities and multidisciplinary teams is beneficial.
