Key Responsibilities
  • Engage in remote collaboration with fellow healthcare professionals within our group practice to devise a comprehensive approach to patient care, addressing both mental health and substance use challenges.
  • Provide timely virtual support to families facing acute crises, utilizing active listening techniques and therapeutic interventions, helping to stabilize situations, and working collaboratively with clients to resolve conflicts.
  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on thorough virtual assessments, monitoring clients' progress and adjusting plans as necessary to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.
  • Conduct dynamic individual, family, and group therapy sessions via secure telehealth platforms, employing a range of therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Behavioral Therapy, and Psychotherapy.
  • Document patient progress meticulously, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of developments in the mental health field.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse array of clients, including individuals and families coping with various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and substance abuse. Your ability to connect with clients and create personalized care plans will have a significant impact on their recovery journeys. Qualifications
  • A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
  • A valid and active state license as a LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC in California.
  • A minimum of three years of clinical experience in a mental health or substance use treatment setting.
  • Proficient understanding and comprehension of mental health and substance use disorders, including the ability to conduct thorough assessments.
  • Strong technical skills, with the ability to utilize telehealth software and various digital communication platforms simultaneously.
