Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate patients' mental health needs, determining their emotional, psychological, and social challenges.

• Providing evidence-based counseling and therapeutic interventions tailored to the unique circumstances of each patient, helping them manage their mental health effectively.

You will work with a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals with complex emotional and psychological issues often associated with terminal illness and end-of-life care. Your role is critical in providing emotional support and resources to patients and their families, helping them navigate difficult conversations and foster a sense of peace and understanding during challenging times.

To excel in this position, you must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of Tennessee.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience specializing in psychotherapy, with a demonstrated history of effective patient outcomes.
• Proficiency in solution-based therapy methods and a strong understanding of evidence-based practices.
• Exceptional communication skills, allowing you to engage effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in hospice care or palliative environments are highly preferred, as this specialty knowledge will enhance your ability to address the unique challenges faced by our patients and families.
