• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms.
• Develop tailored treatment plans in partnership with clients, incorporating their individual goals, preferences, and specific needs.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address clients' challenges.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care techniques to empower their recovery journey.
• Monitor and document client progress using our integrated electronic health record system, ensuring that treatment plans are continuously updated based on evolving client needs.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide holistic care and integrated treatment solutions.
• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in mood disorder treatment to enhance therapeutic strategies employed during sessions.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, complying with all legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in case consultations and participate in team meetings to discuss client progress and new strategies for effective treatment.
• Advocate for clients, promoting awareness of mental health issues and supporting efforts to reduce stigma associated with seeking help.

This position primarily focuses on individuals dealing with mood disorders, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. Working with diverse clients of all ages, you will provide both individual and family therapy, allowing for a comprehensive approach to mental health that considers all aspects of the patient's life.

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is essential.
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills necessary to establish trusting therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Demonstrated empathy and a nonjudgmental approach toward clients' experiences and challenges.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple cases efficiently while maintaining thorough administrative oversight.

While experience with mood disorders is a plus, we welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds. Ideal candidates will have experience working in outpatient settings and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems. • The annual salary ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
