The Mental Health Counselor role operates in a fully remote setting, allowing you the flexibility to deliver therapy from the comfort of your own environment while maintaining client confidentiality and data protection standards. You will engage with a supportive team of mental health professionals through virtual meetings and collaborative online platforms. Regular team discussions and case reviews will ensure an integrative approach to each client’s care.

• Provide individualized counseling sessions that address the varied and specific mental health challenges presented by clients, using evidence-based treatment methodologies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to continuously evaluate and modify treatment plans based on client progress and feedback.
• Document clinical findings and client interactions thoroughly and accurately, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and organizational policies.
• Develop personalized care strategies that align with best practices and provide clients with necessary post-treatment resources to support their ongoing development.
• Take part in community outreach events and workshops to foster engagement and increase awareness of mental health issues while strengthening connections within the community.

The clients you will serve encompass a diverse array of backgrounds and mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more. By understanding the unique narratives of each client, you will tailor your therapeutic approach to foster resilience and enhance well-being.

• Must possess a master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• Must hold an active independent licensure as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT.
• At least two years of relevant clinical experience working within a mental health setting is required.

• Experience with specific therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, or trauma-informed care.
• Familiarity with telehealth technologies and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Background in developing community mental health programs or participating in outreach initiatives.

Better Way Behavioral Health offers an attractive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
