As a full-time ACA-Prolang instructor, you will deliver engaging and interactive second-language training to adult professionals in an online environment. Your courses will focus on oral expression, written comprehension, and written expression, allowing learners to communicate effectively in professional contexts.


While language instruction is the main focus of this role, full-time instructors may also contribute to content development during non-teaching hours.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver communicative ESL courses aligned with ACA-Prolang standards
  • Design and adapt content using provided materials
  • Deliver assessments and track learner progress
  • Adapt to learners' professional language needs
  • Communicate regularly with program coordinators regarding learner progress, scheduling, or issues
  • Maintain accurate course documentation and records
  • Support content development or revision projects (as needed)


Requirements

  • Availability between 7am and 6pm
  • Classes must be taught from Canada, with a preference for instructors based in Québec City or Montréal
  • A Bachelor's degree from a recognized Canadian university (or comparative evaluation from an accredited institution)
  • Minimum of 600 hours of experience teaching adult ESL (within the last six years)
  • Familiarity with Federal Language Levels and experience teaching public-sector learners, an asset
  • A working proficiency in French

Responsibilités
-Livrer des cours d'ALS communicatifs, en ligne, qui sont alignés avec les standards d'ACA-Prolang
-Créer et adapter du contenu en utilisant les matériaux et les outils qui sont fournis
-Livrer des évaluations et traquer le progrès des apprenant·e·s
-S'adapter aux besoins langagiers professionnels des apprenant·e·s
-Communiquer régulièrement avec les coordonnateurs·trices du programme en lien avec le progrès des apprenant·e·s, les horaires et/ou toutes problématiques
-Maintenir de façon précise les documents de cours et les dossiers
-Soutenir le développement de contenu ou les projets de révisions (au besoin)
Exigences
-Disponibilités entre 7h00 et 18h00 du lundi au vendredi (selon vos fuseaux horaires respectifs)
-Les cours doivent être enseignés à partir du Canada, avec une préférence envers les formateurs·trices qui sont basés à Québec ou à Montréal.
-Un baccalauréat d'une université canadienne reconnue (ou une évaluation comparative d'une institution accréditée)
-Un minimum de 600 heures d'expérience en enseignement d'ALS à un publique adulte (qui a été fait à l'intérieur des 6 dernières années)
-Familiarité avec les niveaux linguistiques fédéraux (A, B, C) et de l'expérience en enseignement aux apprenant·e·s dans le secteur-publique est un atout.
