Job Title: ETL Developer (MUST HAVE "Epic or Mosaic" Exp) 

Location: Location: 90% remote, office location-1700 Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD 20852 

Duration: 6 Month Contract to hire   

HOT points:

1. Must have exceptional written and especially verbal communication skills - will be talking a lot over the phone to internal and some external clients

2. Must have Epic or Mosaic -Oracle Data Integrator is a major plus

3. Will be moving current data infrastructure interface records

4. 90% remote - will pay expenses for traveling to local office in Rockville


Job Summary:

We are working with a nationwide network of community hospitals to advance precision medicine objectives for matching patients clinically and providing low cost genetic testing. To do so, the electronic medical record (EMR) infrastructure of the hospitals must be connected to the network data infrastructure where data must securely and accurately flow into, using modern best practices. We are seeking ETL Developers to contribute to the efficiency, accuracy and maturity of the on-boarding process for each hospital and deliver the results as an integrated team.


Responsibilities Include:

Following our processes for system architecture, ETL development, source control, change control etc...

Compliance with all policy and procedure regarding HIPPA, security, and privacy to protect patient data.

Extracting data from Epic and Mosaic systems.

Assisting with the creation of extracts and troubleshooting any issues that are encountered during this process.

Loading of the extracts into Oracle Enterprise Healthcare Analytics System

Data code mapping and validation.

Data profiling and data cleansing.

Development of new ETLs to load partner data into the data lake, data warehouse and data mart.

Versioning of code using GIT source control tool. 


Required skills and experience:

2-5+ years' experience with custom ETL development.

Positive attitude and demeanor, professional presence with a willingness to commit time and effort necessary in order to meet project milestones and implementation deadlines.

Organized, self-managing, requiring little supervision.

ODI, Toad.

Experience in with Electronic Medical Records (EMR's)  

Experience with Epic or Mosaic  

Experience with Oracle Enterprise Healthcare Analytics
