• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to evaluate their mental health status, safety, and specific risks, such as potential for self-harm or harm to others.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client, leveraging evidence-based therapeutic modalities and interventions.
• Facilitate one-on-one counseling sessions, as well as group and family therapy sessions, focusing on psychoeducation and process-oriented discussions.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all assessment outcomes, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate discharge planning, ensuring appropriate follow-up care and ongoing support for clients post-discharge.
• Participate in regular treatment planning meetings to review and adapt treatment strategies based on client feedback and progress.

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals and families facing various mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues. Your role will involve not only addressing immediate mental health concerns but also equipping clients with coping strategies and tools necessary for long-term resilience and success in their mental health journeys.

• A master’s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, counseling, or a closely related behavioral science from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills, along with an ability to articulate complex mental health concepts clearly to clients and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills to ensure timely and accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment progress.
• Exemplary interpersonal skills with a commitment to establishing healthy boundaries and fostering trusting therapeutic relationships.
• Aptitude for working with a diverse clientele, demonstrating cultural competence and sensitivity.
• Ability to successfully complete a background check.

• Experience working in community health settings and familiarity with diverse client populations.
• Previous involvement in treatment planning and collaborative team roles, enhancing overall patient care.
• Knowledge of various evidence-based treatment practices relevant to mental health counseling.
