Job description

We are seeking an experienced individual to join our environmental telecommunications team. You will be responsible for coordinating and completing increasingly complex environmental and regulatory projects while ensuring compliance with federal, state and local regulations, as well as industry standards.

You will play a critical role in leading with the evaluation of environmental impacts, preparing necessary documentation and supporting project teams in minimizing environmental risks.

Ramaker's environmental team provides crucial services to our telecommunications clients. This position offers a lot of variety, which will be ideal for the candidate who has 2-5 years of related experience and is looking to continue to grow in their environmental career!

Most of Ramaker's employee-owners work remotely from their homes, but have the option to work from our Madison, WI office if they prefer an onsite or hybrid work environment. For the right candidate, we would consider candidates outside of the Madison area that have professional experience conducting Phase 1 ESAs.

Your day to day as an environmental scientist

In this role, you will be primarily focused on Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, Material Handling Plans, Remediation Plans. Additionally, you will be exposed to a wide variety of service deliverables including but not limited to NEPA Regulatory Compliance, Geotechnical reports, and other related ancillary services. You will work independently and collaborate with project managers to ensure scope requirements, deliverables, and timelines are consistently met.
