• Perform comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate and identify patient needs, tailoring treatment plans accordingly.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy during individual and group sessions.
• Develop and facilitate psychoeducational and support groups that foster community and provide a safe space for patients to share their experiences and challenges.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other interdisciplinary team members to create a coordinated approach to patient care.
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support services during mental health emergencies, ensuring clients feel secure and supported.
• Educate patients about mental health conditions, their treatment options, and available community resources to empower informed decision-making.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring patient records are accurate and up to date.
• Engage in case consultations and team meetings to share insights and strategies that enhance patient care and outcomes.
• Stay informed on current research and advances in mental health therapy, applying new knowledge to practice.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.
• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities, along with the ability to conduct thorough assessments.
• Proven experience in providing therapeutic services to individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
• Strong ethical judgment and adherence to professional boundaries.
• Competence in using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and other relevant software.
• A collaborative spirit and eagerness to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Experience in an outpatient psychiatric setting is advantageous.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual therapy delivery.
• Previous involvement in providing training or leading workshops for mental health education.
