Job Summary
Provides entry level support for enterprise-wide communications activities.  Responsible for creating a variety of business communications materials including newsletters, intranet articles, workflows, job aides, emails, etc.  Collaborates cross-functionally to develop communications plans, optimize resource allocation, and enhance the impact of communication efforts across the Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial lines of business.
 

Essential Job Duties:

Writes and develops content to support the creation of internal and external communication and marketing materials.
Edits, proofs and reviews all communications to meet the Molina brand, tone, voice and style requirements.
Advises and coordinates the production, ordering and distribution of communications, including print and promotional orders, external mailings, e-newsletters and the publishing of web content - ensuring on-time production and distribution/delivery of materials.
Serves as a liaison between internal departments and external communications/marketing vendors. 
Serves as a communication resource to department leaders proactively and routinely meets with departments to determine communication and content needs.
Creates and updates policies and procedures, workflows, job aides and communication department training materials.
Ensures regulatory/accreditation compliance of communications/marketing materials in alignment with state and federal requirements.
Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements in all communications materials.
Promotes enterprise-wide brand strategy to ensure consistent brand identity, messaging, and experience across all products, communications and member touchpoints.
Follows content governance and quality control - ensuring all member and provider-facing materials meet brand, accuracy, accessibility, cultural competency, and regulatory standards.

Required Job Qualifications:

At least 2 years of communications and/or marketing experience, including writing/editing experience, preferably in health care/managed care, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
Copywriting/editing skills.
Ability to communicate complex concepts in a concise manner and in the appropriate tone.
Organizational skills and attention to detail.
Basic graphic design and proficiency in Adobe creative suite.
Some project management experience. 
Ability to work cross-functionally with internal/external stakeholders in a highly matrixed organization.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Microsoft Office suite and applicable software programs proficiency.

Bachelor's Degree

2-3 years
