• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments of students experiencing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges to form an accurate diagnosis and create tailored treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and solution-focused techniques, addressing a variety of mental health issues.
• Maintain detailed and timely clinical documentation in compliance with state regulations and organization policies, ensuring accountability and continuity of care.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and school administrators to devise individualized strategies that support each student’s mental health journey.
• Provide educational workshops for school stakeholders to enhance mental health awareness and promote a supportive school climate.
• Engage in continuous education by staying updated on the latest research and evidence-based practices in mental health and social work.

The primary focus of our services is on supporting students from diverse backgrounds within the Dalton community. You will work with children and adolescents dealing with a spectrum of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Your role is critical in creating a safe and understanding space where students feel heard and empowered to navigate their mental health challenges.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of Georgia.
• Demonstrated knowledge of solution-focused and evidence-based psychotherapy interventions pertinent to children and adolescents.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, families, and educators.
