As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Arc Zone, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and formulating effective treatment plans tailored to the needs of each client.
• Providing crisis intervention, including the development of pre-crisis and crisis plans, behavioral guidelines, and medication treatment plans.
• Completing necessary documentation in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring timely updates are made in client records.
• Utilizing evidence-based screening tools as determined by the clinical team to best serve our clients.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement positive behavior support plans that address client needs holistically.
• Participating fully in licensing and accreditation processes to maintain high standards of care.
• Serving as a liaison for state agencies, community partners, and relevant service systems, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across services.
• Establishing strong relationships with local, state, and federal agencies to secure vital partnerships and funding opportunities that will enhance client services.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development to enhance personal and professional growth, including attending conferences and representing the agency at various events.
• Promoting and aligning your work with the agency's mission and values, contributing meaningfully to our culture of care.
• Performing additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director.

In your role, you will work with a diverse array of clients, including those facing substance use challenges, developmental disabilities, and mental health issues. You will support individuals seeking recovery and resilience, tailoring your approach to effectively meet each client's unique needs. Building relationships with clients will be central to your role, enabling you to provide them with the tools and resources necessary for long-term success.

To qualify for this position, you must possess:

• A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health-related field.
• An independent LMHC license recognized by the state board.
• A proven ability to maintain accurate and confidential clinical records and generate related reports.
• The capability to work cooperatively in a multidisciplinary team-focused environment.
• Outstanding communication skills, enabling you to express ideas and clinical insights effectively.
• A strong sense of judgment and the ability to make independent decisions grounded in professional knowledge.

While not mandatory, experience in community health settings and familiarity with evidence-based practices will enhance your candidacy. Prior work with diverse populations and those with complex needs will also be a valuable asset in this role.
