The team behind the genius

Norda Stelo is seeking an Intermediate or Senior Structural Engineer to support industrial and heavy industrial projects in Ontario. This role is intended to strengthen our local presence and provide technical support to clients during project execution, site investigations, construction, and operational phases.
The successful candidate will work closely with our Vancouver-based engineering team while acting as a local representative for client coordination, site support, and engineering assessments.


Our expertise is diversifying, how about you?

· Perform site visits, field inspections, and condition assessments for industrial facilities and structures;

· Support clients with site-related engineering issues and provide practical solutions;

· Coordinate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams;

· Review existing structures and provide recommendations for repairs, modifications, or upgrades;

· Support structural design activities for steel and concrete structures;

· Assist with constructability reviews and construction support services;

· Prepare technical reports, sketches, and engineering documentation;

· Participate in project coordination meetings and client discussions;

· Support business development and maintain strong client relationships in Ontario.

Our must-haves
  • · Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering;

    · Professional Engineer designation (P.Eng.) in Ontario or eligibility for registration;

    · Approximately 6+ years of relevant structural engineering experience;

    · Experience with industrial or heavy industrial projects preferred;

    · Strong site inspection and construction support experience;

    · Good understanding of Canadian codes and standards, including NBCC Part 4, CSA S16, and CSA A23.3;

    · Experience with seismic design is considered an asset;

    · Familiarity with structural analysis software such as RISA-3D or SAP2000 is preferred;

    · Strong communication and client-facing skills;

    · Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with remote engineering teams.
