What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Remote Engine Performance Engineer, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Remote Engine Performance Engineer, you need a strong background in mechanical or automotive engineering, with expertise in engine systems and performance analysis, often supported by a relevant degree. Proficiency with diagnostic software, data acquisition tools, and simulation platforms such as MATLAB or AVL is typically required. Analytical thinking, effective communication, and problem-solving skills are crucial for collaborating remotely and delivering actionable insights. These skills ensure accurate performance optimization and reliable support for engine operations in distributed work environments.

What is a Remote Engine Performance Engineer?

A Remote Engine Performance Engineer is a professional who evaluates, monitors, and optimizes the performance of engines (such as those in automobiles, aircraft, or industrial equipment) from a remote location. They use specialized software and data analysis tools to assess engine efficiency, diagnose issues, and recommend improvements without being physically present with the machinery. This role often involves collaborating with on-site engineers, interpreting telemetry data, and providing guidance to enhance engine reliability and output. Remote Engine Performance Engineers are employed in industries like automotive, aerospace, and energy, where remote diagnostics and performance optimization are crucial.

How does a Remote Engine Performance Engineer typically collaborate with on-site teams to optimize engine performance?

As a Remote Engine Performance Engineer, collaboration with on-site teams is crucial for effective diagnostics and optimization. This is usually achieved through regular virtual meetings, sharing real-time data, and utilizing collaborative platforms to review test results and performance metrics. Engineers often work closely with test technicians, design engineers, and project managers to analyze issues, recommend adjustments, and implement improvements. Clear communication and timely feedback are key to ensuring seamless coordination despite the physical distance.

THE OPPORTUNITY
GR0 is looking for an SEO and communication enthusiast with a track record of delivering bespoke and extraordinary client support. As a Campaign Manager, SEO, you will manage 10-15 accounts and deliver GR0's proven SEO strategies alongside our fast-growing GEO offering, helping clients rank on ChatGPT, Perplexity, Grok, and other LLM platforms.
This is not traditional SEO alone. GEO is GR0's biggest focus, and the demand from clients is immediate and enthusiastic. Every month, our clients will see more traffic from LLMs, and you will be on the front lines proving and communicating that ROI. We will train you directly on the tools, tactics, and messaging that drive retention and growth.
If you are eager to shape the future of search and be part of a team leading the tidal wave of AI-driven discovery, we encourage you to apply. Open to remote candidates within the United States or local to Los Angeles and willing to commute to the office.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Serve as the primary contact for 10-15 accounts, maintaining 2 to 3 weekly touchpoints via email, Slack, and video calls.
  • Build and execute SEO and GEO strategies by enabling LLM crawling, creating content pages for LLM indexing, and implementing technical site optimizations such as schema and structured data.
  • Analyze performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and emerging AI and GEO tracking platforms to be rolled out across all clients.
  • Clearly demonstrate ROI for clients, for example, showing monthly spend can generate measurable revenue.
  • Project manage cross-functional deliverables across Content, Technical SEO, and Analytics to ensure seamless execution.
  • Field and resolve client issues while maintaining trust and delivering a premium customer experience.
  • Onboard new clients into SEO and GEO services with a streamlined, high-touch process.
  • Identify opportunities for upsells in GEO and AI-powered services, working with sales and leadership to expand accounts.
  • Stay on the cutting edge of SEO, GEO, and AI and LLM industry trends, and translate complex updates into actionable client communication.
  • Mentor other Campaign Managers and serve as an escalation point for high-stakes accounts.
  • Partner with leadership on department-wide initiatives including analytics platform adoption, GEO execution scaling, and training programs.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
  • A proven track record of exceptional client relationship management in an agency or high-volume digital marketing environment.
  • 1 or more years of SEO or digital marketing experience in a client-facing role.
  • Deep knowledge of SEO best practices, Google ranking algorithms, and emerging LLM and GEO visibility strategies.
  • Experience successfully managing large portfolios of 10-15 accounts with diverse and competing priorities.
  • Strong adherence to process and the ability to help build and scale new operating frameworks.
  • Comfort presenting clear ROI and growth opportunities to clients and internal stakeholders.

WHO YOU ARE:
  • Passionate about SEO, AI, and the future of discovery through LLMs.
  • Energized by serving clients and solving complex problems with creativity and clarity.
  • Excited to learn directly from leadership and contribute to a rapidly scaling offering.
  • Transparent, accountable, and a persuasive communicator.
  • Skilled at balancing multiple client needs while maintaining rigor and attention to detail.
  • Adaptive to change and eager to thrive in a fast-moving, startup-style environment.
