Job Title: Energy Advisor

Job Description

The Energy Advisor provides expert guidance to residential and commercial customers on energy efficiency, conservation, and renewable energy programs while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment. This role focuses on handling inbound calls, resolving billing and usage concerns, and educating customers on solutions that help reduce energy costs and support clean energy initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Handle a high volume of inbound customer calls in a fast-paced call center queue environment.
  • Provide clear, professional, and empathetic customer service for a wide range of energy-related inquiries.
  • Consult with customers on energy efficiency programs and conservation solutions tailored to their usage patterns.
  • Analyze customer energy usage and billing information to identify issues and resolve concerns accurately.
  • Educate customers on strategies to lower energy costs through conservation and participation in efficiency programs.
  • Promote and explain renewable and clean energy program offerings in an informative and unbiased manner.
  • Document customer interactions and outcomes thoroughly and accurately in the appropriate systems.
  • Meet or exceed departmental performance targets related to call quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Multitask effectively while navigating systems, reviewing account details, and communicating with customers in real time.
  • Collaborate with team members and leadership to share insights on customer needs and improve service processes.

  • Proven experience working in a fast-paced call center environment handling customer inquiries.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume inbound calls while maintaining quality and professionalism.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
